Hospital, 2 to Kennedy Town Infective Diseases Hospital, and

61 to the Kennedy Town Plague Branch of the Tung Wah Hospital.

Of the fatal cases, 81, 72 male and 9 fe-

male, were already in a dying condition at the time of admis-

sion.

122 dead bodies;89 male and 33 female

were brought to the Hospital Mortuary to await burial. I sub-

mitted 31 of these, as also 34 bodies of persons who died with -

in the Hospital itself, to internal examination at the Gov-

eriment Public Mortuary.

Free burial was provided by the Hospital

for 454 persons.

The number of visits to the out-Patient

Department was 30,279;29,077 male and 1,202 female.

232 Destitute persons were temporarily

lodged and fed.

The Plague Branch Hospital at Kennedy

Town was closed on 15th.August. I have already specially re-

ported regarding this.

Among surgical operations perforded by

Dr. Chung during the quarter have been Reduction of Disloca-

tions of the shoulder and Hip Joints, Lithotrity for Versical

Calculus, Extirpation of a Cystic Tumour, Circumcision,&C.,

earlier in the year is in routine use, and all cases of fever,
